Recently re-opened under new management, Charlie and Steven look forward to welcoming local customers new and existing, into one of Cardiff's most historical and traditional public houses with a fine range of real ales, lagers, top shelf spirits, hearty food, pub snacks plus a wide range of carefully selected entertainment.

The Royal Oak is a friendly local traditional pub with a great atmosphere and accommodation, situated at the entrance to the town, and only 5 minutes walk to the City Centre of Cardiff.

The Royal Oak also offers Bed and Breakfast, with a single, twin and triple rooms.

Outside there is the sunny garden with all new benches and decking, and a halogen heated illuminated canopy where customers can enjoy regular barbecues on Sunday throughout the summer.

The Royal Oak often holds music and theme nights creating a lively and buzzing atmosphere throughout the year.

We also offer an ever changing blackboard menu of fine traditional Welsh dishes and Sunday Roast every week.
